Our July Christmas cards continued using the beautiful DSP A Stitched Tradition. This would have been right up my mom’s alley with the whole patchwork quilt block patterns. I could have handed her a pattern from the DSP, asked for a table runner or wall hanging, and the next time I saw her she would have probably both created. It would have been hard for her to use materials in the colors of the DSP since she preferred the traditional Christmas Reds and Greens, but she would have worked till she had something similar to the colors above.
By July I was able to order extra packages since the products were available to customers, and I believe I ended up using the majority of 7 packages between card classes, creations for my posts, and other items. I still have scraps that need to be used up though —– best be doing that when I return mid November!
Final Day In Rome!
Today’s tour is a long walking one, so pretty sure by tonight I will be wiped out. We will be going to the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Sights will also include the famous Spanish Steps and Rome’s breathtaking Baroque esplanades. My hope is to take a golf cart tour this evening seeing the sights in the night with the incredible lighting. Fingers crossed that I’m able to do – travelling around Rome with someone driving so you can enjoy the evening sights and views sounds extravagant – right? And the granddaughters said Gelato is mandatory every day while I’m in Italy. And, you know, whatever the grandkids say must be true!
Find time to craft and create, and God Bless!
