Good morning everyone!!! This is going to be a short and sweet post showing another beautiful card using the fun fold that Pam shared with us on our FB LIVE. I believe the name is the Accordian Squeeze fold, but I know most definitely it was created by Susan Campfield. Please be sure to check out her website!!!
I also used the Christmas Classics Suite for this beautiful diecut, but turned to the O Holy Night Suite for the Shining Brightly DSP, as well as the Night Divine stampset. I added just one of those coveted gold star trinkets I had left, and it’s a beautiful card that is easy to recreate in ANY COLOR combination, with ANY DSP selections for ANY OCCASSION!
We all have our favorite color combinations with Stampin’ Up’s Color Collection, but I find one of my absolute favorites is Night Of Navy, Very Vanilla, and gold accents. I RARELY use Very Vanilla – probably no more than 10% of the time! – because I much prefer the crisp, clean look of Basic White, but for Christmas I do love this color combo. And if it was SILVER with Night Of Navy??? Then Basic White most definitely!
Are you in the “give your envelope some love” club, or the “plain envelopes are the best” club????? I usually try to decorate the envelope in some way by stamping, but have you ever tried embossing the flap???? I chose the Distressed Tile embossing folder here because when you study it and the Very Vanilla/Gold DSP they both have this medallion thing going on and I see a connection. What other ways do you give love to your envelopes? Simply stamping them????? Have you tried gluing DSP to the flap too?
Now my daughter is all about those plain envelopes!!! She goes through my cards every so often and takes a variety of cards home with her to have on hand for her team – thinking of you, thank you, congratuations, etc. She can get the right card for the right occasion but do not make her match the envelope too!!! They are going to get mixed up, so plain envelopes please!
Got to tell a story on her though. One of her team received a promotion and Megan had nothing on hand EXCEPT a graduation card! Yep, she used it and congratulated them for graduating from her team and advancing on!!! She has such a way with words and spinning things!!! Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!!!
