Good Morning!!!! We had a chance to go see our little guy last night, and so right at the last minute I canceled our FB Live on the group page to go hold our toddler. He’s been sick with the virus that has taken the whole nursery room at daycare and with such a busy week with our retreat, Nana Lola stayed away to not catch it. But today he was heading back to baby school so away we went. He is going on 10 months and is walking behind his little push toy, has let go and taken a step or two, and yesterday he was standing and clapping. He’s growing too quickly, and we are thankful to be so close we can see him a couple of times a week.
Pictures Can’t Do Justice To This Card!!!
I do not use dryer sheets any longer in my laundry room, but I may have to sneak a few in so I can use them with CRAFTING!!! I did the dryer sheet technique on the card above, and it is such a WOW effect!!! And talk about EASY!!!
I stamped the white mat with the Snow Crystal stamp from the annual catalog in Night of Navy. Once dried I sprayed adhesive – Krylon Easy-Tack from Hobby Lobby – on the stamped mat, being sure you get the corners. After spraying, stretch the used dryer sheet on top of the stamped mat, and pat down.
Trim the edges of the dryer sheet away, then cover with fine white glitter. Stampin’ Up use to have a product called Dazzling Details, but since they no longer carry it I purchased some from Amazon. Liberally pour the glitter over the dryer sheet and shake off the residue – stunning!!!!!
Final Thoughts….
Today I am prepping for the add-on retreat classes, then tomorrow I have a friend helping me finish the prep and setup. I’m looking forward to gathering with others while we craft. We will have our own personal Craft, Chat, and Chew time with snacks thrown in. Until next time, enjoy the fall weather, find some time to do what makes you happy, and God Bless!
