A Side Step Fun Fold For Valentine’s Day!

Well, last night was the Super Bowl. I’m not a fan of baseball – too slow a game – nor am I fan of hockey – too hard to keep up with the puck -, and I’m really not a fan of basketball. With the score changing constantly I feel like all you need to watch is the final couple of minutes of the basketball game. And that’s what I thought of last night’s Super Bowl. There were so few successful drives, so many three and outs, so many punts it was kind of boring. In the 4th quarter it looked like the Patriots were going to come back but Seattle’s defense was so dominating it didn’t happen. Heck, even some of the better commercials were in the 4th quarter as well.

And now we start the LONG STRETCH before the start of next football season. We will get the discussion and all of the hype of the Draft Day in April, then the free agency speculations, the training camp holdouts, the pre-season games, then the football drought ends in September with the start of next year’s season.

Who knows, maybe the Chiefs will host a draft party this year? The last time we had such a high draft pick, Pool Boy and I attended the season ticket holders’ party at the Chiefs’ practice facility, and the place went totally nuts when they announced the Chiefs had traded up to take Patrick Mahomes in the first round. I turned to Jim and asked “who’s that???”. LOL. That one decision certainly made huge changes for our Chiefs’ team and history.

Enough football talk – on to crafting!!

I’m still in Valentine mode so over the weekend I put together this sweet fun fold card to share later today on my FB LIVE. I’ll post the PDF with measurements tomorrow morning. I really have loved the Made With Love DSP, and I’ve gone through lots of packages between samplers, framed art, valentines for the hospital staff, and banners. And currently I’m loaded with Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, and Poppy Parade card stock cause I’ve put those colors to use with all of the projects.

RoseMary Shared The Love With Her Church Family

Our friend RoseMary created these adorable candy mailboxes, that she shares with church members and friends. She created 80 of these little mailboxes! Each one holds a couple of Hershey Treasures. She enjoys sharing her paper crafting skills through 3D projects like little treat projects as this for special holidays. She’s already thinking on her next treat project to package small mm bags. Just one more way to share the love, not just in February but throughout the year.
