I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with plenty of eating, gathering with friends and family (those are favorites of mine) and maybe shopping on Black Friday (not at all my thing!). Here in northeast Missouri the weather was beautiful with blue skies and temperatures in the low 60’s – not at all what you expect in November but once again, in Missouri you’re never sure what the weather will be!
Today’s card is one I cased and I am so very sorry to say I can’t locate the designer again on the web! I will keep searching and update this when I find her so I can give her credit! I wanted to use the Sweet Little Stockings Suite to design a card with the images from the DSP. Denise Rowan, a co-worker of my at school has the most charming animal family and I knew when I saw this paper I had to create a card to share with her.

The Bond of Three Fur Babies:
Several years ago, Denise wanted a golden retriever to train as a service dog. Sadie is probably going on 3 and she is such a sweet, good natured girl who visits nursing homes and hospitals, libraries, and even takes her turn ushering at church! Allie, the precocious teen ager is going on two and full of energy. She is also training to be a service dog but has a ways to go to catch up with Sadie. And then, we add in Zoe the cat.
Zoe’s tale is a heartwarming story of love, patience, and caring. Denise was missing her beloved cat China after having her for 15 years, so she started searching for another feline. Zoe was a feral cat with a leg so wounded, she needed an amputation. More than that, she needed a home where she would be loved, accepted and cared for. Through a long summer process, Denise, her family, and canine duo formed a lasting bond with Zoe and my husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed Denise’s posts on FB showing the bond grow.
Final Thoughts:
I hope you have enjoyed this card today and hearing the tale of the bond between these pets. Fur babies bring so much love and joy to our lives. Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
