This will probably arrive in your mail box later than usual, but I wanted to take a moment and share what I’m working on today. One of the perks of attending OnStage with Stampin’ Up is the opportunity to participate in a preorder for new materials. My preorder was mostly done on the drive to Houston because they posted the list early, and it even shipped that day BUT with retreat, Easter Samplers, and the card class, I’ve been unable to do anything but just glance in the boxes!!! So today, while Pool Boy goes to pick up his mom at her home, I’m digging in while I’m also working on a zinniz sampler. Kind of as a reward – get a portion of the sampler designed so I can have a few minutes to unpack!!!
My preorder always has the new in colors arriving in all product categories – card stock, write markers, blends, inks, re-inkers, ribbons, and gems. If I’m going to be living with these colors for two years I want to have everything I need for crafting.
Now, you may not want to purchase a full package of each cardstock, but there is an assortment package of the 5 colors that will give you an idea which ones you like best. BUT —– my #1 tip to you is this!
When you decide which colors you want to purchase for your supplies, PLEASE BUY the card stock, ink pad, and re-inkers together!!!! Those re-inkers will last a long time so you can get many years out of those ink pads. Make this a habit so you don’t miss the ink refills down the road. Having the supply of your favorite colors – card stock, ink pad, re-inker, and I like to include the blends and write markers as well! – is an easy way to check them all off at one time!
So, I’m off to work on the next sampler section, and when I’m finished, I will reward myself with moving the retired in colors off my shelf and filling the empty spots with my new color friends!!!! YAY!!!!
God’s Blessings for you and your family this coming Easter weekend. I hope to be back at least once to post, but in case I’m not, I’ll return on Monday!!!
