So first thing – NO baby yet. His daddy’s birthday is today and that would make for a sweet birthday treat – the birth of your baby on your birthday! Our family is known for having birthdays the same day or back to back birthdays like Pool Boy Jim and I. Oh well, he has a mind of his own just like his daddy and he will come when he’s ready! There was no rushing Evan, and there will be no rushing this one either.
Loving The Country Floral Lane DSP!
Stampin’ Up always amazes me with their color combos – they do NOT stick to the traditional color schemes so no Real Red or Polished Pink for Valentines. This year they paired Sweet Sorbet with Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, and Balmy Blue to create a beautiful and sweet Valentine DSP that can be used throughout the spring and summer – no need to use it up by Feb. 14!!
I’m in the process of creating my examples for our next card class which is all about Valentines. We will be using the Country Bundle, along with everything included in the suite EXCEPT one thing – the ribbons. Real Red and Crumb Cake ribbons don’t work for me with the Sweet Sorbet and other colors. So what will I do with them??? MOVE THEM AROUND to use with other products!!! Our products are meant to be paired with other items in both the Annual and Mini catalogs!!! It’s just a matter of playing and putting your creativity to work.
Even the motorcycle bundle in the Ready To Ride Suite because Stampin’ Up used the Crumb Cake ribbon with the examples on page 68 in the mini – proof you just have to play with it!!!!
Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!!!
