So my focus this week is to play and create using the Beautiful Balloons Bundle along with the coordinating Bright And Beautiful DSP. One stamp set/bundle, and one DSP. Shouldn’t be difficult because their are so many options to use, between the dies, the DSP patterns, and the stamps! Don’t forget – the Bright And Beautiful DSP is on sale until JUNE 30, so have you placed an order for a package or two? (I have several packages of it in my craft room!)
Pairing The DSP Patterns For The Card’s Background!!
This was an easy and fun card to make, once I figured out which patterns of the DSP to use. I tried several but they were competing because they were too busy, or there was too much white background showing. I loved the stars with the uneven stripe pattern the best. And how can you go wrong with Berry Burst paired with Lemon Lime Twist??????
Open View Of The Tri-Panel Fun Fold!
Anyone would enjoy getting this bright and cheerful card in the mail! The focal part of the greeting is built with the Decorative Circle Punch and circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The die cuts for the stars came from the Beautiful Balloon dies, and the greeting came from the coordinating stamp set. Take a close look at the greeting though – it’s smaller than the one showing on the stamp case and in the catalog.
Did you realize that photopolymer stamps can be manipulated in such a way that you can change the stamp size? by lifting one end of the stamp from the block I can make the greeting smaller so that it fits the circle size by bending the stamp. Look at the image above – the greeting on top is the size of the stamp straight from the case, the one on the bottom is the way I stamped it for the card. This is a big plus for those photopolymer stamps!!!
