Pam was unable to do our weekly FB LIVE last night so she asked Chris Howe – one of her downlines and also a good friend of ours – to come and spend the time with me. I’m becoming more comfortable talking on camera without a “sidekick” so to speak other than responding to comments, but it’s so much nicer to have someone right there to talk with. Now I totally understand why Johnny Carson had Ed!!! LOL Chris has been playing with the Potted Geranium Bundle so I asked if she wanted to work with it and as always, she stepped up with not one but three beautiful cards!
Geraniums In Shades Of Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, And Petal Pink!
Poppy Parade Is My Favorite Pick!
Chris based her color palette for this card on a DSP that will be available next month during Sale-A-Bration! You will find this plaid print in the Rings Of Love DSP which is FREE with a $50 order during the months of July and August. She used Poppy Parade for full strength on the detailed stamp, then stamped off before adding the bloom color. The detailed leaves were stamped full strength with Soft Succulent, then she added Mint Macaron for the leaf color.
Calypso Coral Gives Beautiful Salmon Geraniums!
The Calypso Coral blooms were created in the same manner as the Poppy Parade blooms – full strength for the detail, stamped off for the bloom color. Chris used a simple fun fold by scoring first at 4.25 then scoring in the middle of the front of the card at 2 and 1/8 inches. She overlaid deckled frames and paired the Garden Green mats with the Calypso Coral pattern from the Pretty Prints DSP. Her leaves were stamped in the same manner as the blooms – full strength for Garden Green details, stamped off for the overall leaf color.
Another Beauty In Petal Pink!
Did you know that when it comes to paper crafting, we believe in CASING??? COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING! But we do try to give credit when possible! Erica Cerwin from Pink Buckaroo designed this card with a lattice die cut background. Since Chris didn’t have the diecut, she chose to use an embossing folder, and the DSP is from the hostess package from in the annual catalog. Her color choices were Petal Pink (stamped in the same manner as the other blooms), and Old Olive for the detailing on the leaves, with Pear Pizzazz for the leaf color. If you have never checked out Erica at Pink Buckaroo please do so! She has a fun, creative twist to her designs and 3D projects are one of her fortes!

Many Thanks To Chris For Sharing Her Talents!
We are very lucky to have Chris in our stamping community! She loves to create and as this grouping of cards shows, she enjoys playing and trying different color combinations. Did you notice not a single bloom was REAL RED??? Totally stepped outside the box from that traditional color! Chris, you are always welcome to come and share your beautiful creations and talent anytime! She is good about posting pictures on the group page of some of her creations, so if you are not a member, join us so you can view!!!
Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!!!
