Have you ever made your mind up to do something, then after the fact you wondered “what was I thinking????” If so, then you will understand how I feel about this fun fold! I was inspired by a card designed by Jeanie Stark with tulips, so I just had to CASE it! I even made it through cutting the cardstock and DSP early in the morning before school, and by lunch I’m thinking about it and it hit me – with the measurements I used, that card is NOT going in our standard envelopes!!! What was I THINKING????? However, once you make it past cutting 100 pieces of paper – not really but it sure seems like it! – and a couple of small hurdles for the card base, it goes together easy!!!
Tutorial For The Floating Frame Fun Fold!
This is not a card to try and quickly throw together since the prep alone takes over 15 minutes to do ( more like 30 minutes if you cut it minutes after you wake up!!! LOL!!) The measurements are not traditional so be sure to measure twice, cut once!! You will waste much cardstock and DSP if you are not careful! Link To The FB LIVE RECORDING!
I highly suggest viewing this before cutting, and then again while assembling the card. Then again, if I had watched a video I might NOT have created the card, so go figure! This link will take you to our group page I created with my upline Pam Cosby back during the time of COVID. It was meant for our friends and customers, but has since grown to several hundred members and people throughout the US and Canada. We try to go live on most Tuesday evenings, so be sure to request to join us – we would love you to be a part of our group!

Final Thoughts…
I’m down to day 4 of my school countdown. You would think that having retired from full time teaching 9 years ago I would be past the water works, but yesterday my speech therapist and I were teary knowing our time together was coming to an end. I have been blessed to work under two wonderfully talented speech therapists -Mary Kay Rich and Arla Fanning – who have taught and nurtured my training as a speech implementer. I am equally blessed to count them as friends as well. In fact, Arla and I go way back to her being in high school and babysitting for our children! Thank you Lord for bringing these gals into my life.
Until tomorrow, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!!!!
