Today’s card is simply another view of yesterday’s card, but for a masculine get well gift instead. It’s nice to take friends something to help them during recovery, but what???? Some people take food – but if I’m cooking you REALLY don’t want the meal. Some send flowers – but have you checked out the price of fresh flowers lately???? I’m all about gift cards – something they can use when THEY want to use it, to buy what THEY want to buy. I really like giftcards for Casey’s and such – my gosh, pizza or gas!!! Perfect!!! LOL!!! And when you know the spouse also appreciates a fresh Diet Coke from McD’s, it’s a double win!!!
And I didn’t have to cook!!!!! That make’s it a triple!

Same layout as yesterday, but is this not perfect for a guy???? I have to say that the book patterns in the All About Autumn DSP didn’t take my eye, but when I was designing this card for a friend who had a recent surgery these pages were the ones I turned to. Doesn’t the book shelves look perfect for a lawyer??? Throw in the brews and wine and all of a sudden I’m singing the Cheer’s theme song!!!!

So many people think gift cards are so impersonal. But I’m here to tell you that the card above was spot on for our friend and his wife! Use your paper crafting to create the perfect card to hold that impersonal gift card and you turn it into a perfectly personal presentation of friendship. Throw the Diet Coke in there from McD’s and you score big!
