One of the first things most demonstrators look for in a new annual catalog are those items that are returning from the previous year. Of course, monetarily, it’s great to have SOME items coming back and we are not pulling EVERYTHING off our shelves to stay current! However, it’s rather difficult explaining to a customer why they can not order something you used in class because it’s retired and NOT AVAILABLE. This is one of the reasons why demnonstrators try to use current products versus retired for their stamping events and classes.
Several years ago Stampin’ Up chose to carry A FEW items over from the Holiday catalog and we are SO THANKFUL!! With the mini catalogs only available to customers for 4 months, it’s hard to get everything used so it’s especially nice to see we can use for another holiday season.
The Beautiful Snow Crystal Stamp Returning!
The Snow Crystal is a beautiful stamp that truly looks realistic – except for the size!!!! It is beautiful in silver or gold heat embossing, but for my upcoming Christmas Card Class I chose to stamp it with Night Of Navy ink. I paired the Night of Navy ink and cardstock with a mat of Smoky Slate – one of my favorite colors combos – to make this beautiful card. Notice the small snowflake?? It comes from Season Of Chic which is another returning stamp set! My greeting comes from Brightest Glow – you guessed it! Returning! – and is stamped on a Deckled Die then paired with a Night Of Navy mat. For embellishments I used the basic Rhinestone Gems and the Night Of Navy Boarded Ribbon to finish off my card.
What Else Is Returning?????
If you already have our Annual Catalog for 2023, you will recognize the several of these returning products. Because this is the 2nd year for these items they will probably not be offered as a Bundle so keep that in mind if you are ordering any of the returning items. Click on the link below to see the full list of Carry Over items – stamps, dies, embellishments, and even a punch – but no DSP which disappoints me! We need a good, basic holiday DSP available for those of us starting Christmas classes in July!
Final Thoughts…
Be sure to check the list over because you may also have items returning. You DON’T want to order them a second time!!!!
