Today’s card is one designed by my upline, Pam Cosby. Pam showcased this card during our FB live Tuesday evening, using the Christmas Season stamp set with the DSP Tidings Of Christmas which is found in the annual catalog.
Besides using the dies from the Seasonal Labels dies she chose am stitched layer from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Obviously Stampin Up has my number! If the die set has stitching, it is a must have for me! I LOVE the detailing and depth that it adds to the diecut!
Pam’s DSP choice continued the color combo of Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso, but Tidings of Christmas uses Cherry Cobbler instead of Real Red.
I tend to use Cherry Cobbler for Christmas and Real Red more during Valentine’s. What is your favorite red for Christmas?
If you look closely, the rhinestones are not quite Soft Succulent. Actually, they are Coastal Cabana from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels in the annual catalog! Not the same color, but definitely they work and tend to pick up the color hue of Soft Succulent in the card stock and ink,.
Have trouble tying bows???
Another of Pam’s team – Chris Howe – shared with us a product she located on Amazon. The locking, curved tweezers are perfect for helping to tie a bow and knot by holding the ribbon in place! Love these Chris! Thank you!! We have a busy night tonight with Holiday Bingo! Our gals are gathering by zoom to social distance – so nice to still be able to gather even if it’s online. For now, keep stamping, keep crafting and God Bless!
