One of my favorite paper crafting activities is making gift tags to share with others! It’s the finishing touch to a special gift package, and one of the first things the recipient sees. Tags can be incredibly detailed or fun and quick to make. And the best part – it’s just scraps! I have a Paper Pumpkin box that I toss scraps in for the purpose of tag making – when the box gets full, tag making time is here! My kids know the drawer to go to when they need holiday tags because there is usually a stash ready to go all year round. It’s my job to keep it supplied!
Turn Scraps into Beautiful Tags!
Granted, these tags are a bit time consuming but I love how much detail I can add to a 2 x 3 piece of paper! All three tags were crafted using the Peaceful Place DSP along with the Peaceful Cabin Bundle. Recognize the tiny cabins?? They were fussy cut from one of the DSP pages! Each are finished off with a piece of White Glittered Organdy ribbon as well as a piece of baker’s twine.
Three Tags, Three Different Looks!
Sometimes, we just need a break from cardmaking and tags are the perfect past time. Start saving small scraps in a container and have a crafting day making some! Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
