Stampin” Up has a large grouping of Online Exclusives heading your way during the month of July. As a demonstrator I have the option to order these online exclusives a month early, so I was excited to have my preorder arrive two days before we left on our short vacation. New products AND some craft time at the same time! The problem was deciding which new bundles to play with, so I narrowed it down to two – the Frosted Forest Bundle and the Changing Leaves Bundle.
Both of these bundles have extras to enhance your crafting – the Frosted Forest bundle has a set of mats to add layered color to the trees, and the Changing Leaves Bundle has the coordinating hybrid folder that embosses and die cuts at the same time!!
Isn’t this a beautiful tree?? First I stamped the tree outline with Pecan Pie, then I added the layers of color with the masks and blending brushes – Pecan Pie, then Pumpkin Pie, and finally Cajun Craze. The narrow strip of DSP comes from a new 6×6 DSP that will also be available in July.
Check out the background in the picture above. I used a DSP from the Country Woods package, then ran it through the embossing folder only of the Changing Leaves bundle. Since this is a hybrid folder you can insert the die in the folder and it will cut AND emboss the leaves at the same time. BUT, you can also simply emboss the background like our other folders. I’ll share a couple more cards using these new products tomorrow and Thursday then Thursday night we are back home. Friday I will be kicking into Christmas Card Class mode!!!
Final Day To Sign Up For The First Christmas Card Class – Friday, June 21!
Our first Christmas Card Class is scheduled for June 25 and can be either IN PERSON or ONLINE with a mailed kit and emailed tutorial!!! Join me each month – June through October – and by the end we will have up to 40 finished Christmas cards ready to sign and mail!!! Attend one month, two months, or ALL 5 months! Receive a FREE EMBELLISHMENT (apr. $10 in price and will be chosen from the Mini Holiday Catalog) from me if you participate in all 5 classes!
Today’s agenda is swimming, having dinner at a new BBQ place Pool Boy wants to try, then our tickets for the Queen Esther show. And I’m pretty sure so easy crafting and a nap will fit into that agenda as well!
Until next time, have a great day, find some time to craft and create, and God Bless!
