Today is our final day in Branson and the plans are to visit the Top Of The Rock golf course and tours. They say it’s a beautiful golf course but there are trails over the grounds, thru a couple of caves, etc. that are just as much a drawing point as the course itself.
Last night we attended the performance of Queen Esther at the Sight And Sound Theatre. What an incredible show – the sets themselves were incredible! Costuming was stunning, music was powerful, and we enjoyed it immensely. I’ve always heard wonderful things about the shows in past years but it never worked out for us to attend. So thankful we had the opportunity last night.
Today’s card is very similar to yesterday’s starting first with the layout. But I wanted a softer, more springy look with the tree so I changed the color combo to Gray Granite, Petal Pink, and Soft Sea Foam. There is a die that acts as an overlay to the tree foilage, so I chose to use that die on a pattern from the Country Woods DSP. I love the bird in flight stamp as well as the dies to add movement to the card.
I changed the background mat by using the wood grain embossing folder, a change of labels and greeting, and I’m able to get more bang for the buck with this bundle versus simply fall cards!
I will be back tomorrow with my third card from the bundle – this time a winter scene. My crafting bag is usually the last thing I pack for our trips. If I run out of time, I simply grab past Paper Pumpkin kits or an all inclusive kit from Stampin’ Up. This trip I had about an hour to throw some things together. I picked a layout to work with, and then went to town. By stamping and running dies, etc. at home I am able take less items on our trip. Pool Boy would not be interested in me taking my craft room along!!!
See you tomorrow with my final card before we head home and then I have EVERYTHING back at my fingertips for crafting. Until next time, have a great day, enjoy doing what makes you happy, and God Bless!
