I don’t know about you, but I grew up having leftovers! When a meal was finished, you put everything away in the frig and then a couple of days later, you ate the leftovers. In fact, there are some meals that improve with being a leftover – for us, chili and lasagna are better the second day. Every so often you visit with someone who says “we don’t eat leftovers. Ever”. That is so different from the way both Pool Boy and I grew up. So – here’s your question. DO YOU eat leftovers?????
I’m focusing on leftovers, because I needed a quick card this morning and my work table is actually clean for a change. The last thing I was working on was the Advent kit and there are plenty of leftovers to use, so I grabbed the box and went to work.
Rustic Christmas Countdown Leftovers!
There were several of these beautifully cut wreath circles remaining, along with the Cherry Cobbler sequins and Cherry Cobbler twine. I paired them with DSP from the online exclusive item Traditions Of St. Nicholas DSP, Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow cardstock. I needed one diecut circle from the Deckled Circle die set, and a simple greeting and image for the wreath, and done!
Rustic Christmas Count Down – What A GREAT Kit!!!!
I sat down to put this kit together, and it is AWESOME!!!! No stamping involved!!! Everything is beautifully laser-cut and with the gold foil, it is beautiful. The pockets can easily hold a couple of miniature candy bars, little novelty items from the dollar store, etc. for a fun way to aniticipate the holiday.

Final Thoughts….
Tonight is Halloween and I don’t know what the weather is in your area, but in ours coats need to be part of the costume. We will have just a few trick or treaters since there are just a few kids in our neighborhood. We usually have a couple of families from church as well, and I’m expecting baby Cal to come over. But I always am prepared, no matter what with candy. I would hate for someone to show and not have anything, so my small bowl of candybars is on the island. And guess what??? If there is any remaining candy, we will just have to eat the LEFTOVERS, won’t we!?!?!?!?
