Easter Blessings With The Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set!

How is it possible that Easter is less than 3 weeks away? With March so busy for us I didn’t think about getting my Easter cards started yet, and now it’s days away! Thank goodness for the beautiful Daffodil Daydream stamp set that allows me to make fast cards with the stamped floral images! I love the daffodil builder dies but since we will be using those with our Stamp n Sip clubs next week I can’t add more die cuts to the table yet. Luckily the bouquet images are just as beautiful and added to a label or die cut they are easy to color in and finish!

***As I commented yesterday I love the combination of Black and White with a touch of color! This card came together quickly using the Pattern Party DSP and Daffodil Delight card stock and blends!***

I CASED a card layout from Kylie with the Stamper’s Workshop from Australia to get started. Be sure to check out her beautiful card with the hydrangea stamp set online! By using the Contour Scallop Labels I was able to add an insert inside for greetings. Finding religious greetings and sentiments are not easy but I discovered some time ago that Hobby Lobby (shame on me! LOL) carries a good selection of scriptures and greetings that lend themselves toward card ministries and such. By simply adding the stamp with the dove and “He Is Risen” to the inside of the card I can quickly sign and get these on their way!

Inside View Of The Card:

To make sure my front label completely lined up with the inside label, I first attached the inside of the card. Then after adding dimensionals to the LEFT of the front label, I then folded the card together, made sure that the RIGHT side of the label completely lined up with the inside scallop label, then pressed the LEFT side of the label in place!

A Standing View!

***I love to stand my cards I receive for display in our kitchen! Makes me happy to see the beautiful happy mail we receive throughout the year.***

When we remodeled our kitchen I gained a beautiful wall of cabinets with glass-fronted doors and shelves to display dishes, and also multiple drowers and cabinets for the lower level. This whole unit surrounds my desk area. The bottom of the unit is about 7 inches wider than the glass shelves above, making a GREAT AREA to showcase our cards and framed art work from my classes!!! Unplanned but loved never the less!!!

Final Thoughts ….

This card will be on it’s way to one of my team members who lives in Georgia and has a love of planting flower bulbs! Elyse is the daughter of one of my coworkers and she has tremendous success at forcing her bulbs to bloom through wintering in refrigeration. She has blooms well into the summer by staggering them, and even brought a car load of flowering bulbs to share with her mom while visiting last summer. She and I have only met once in person but I love the connection we have built through the love of gardening and the love of Stampin’ Up! Our Statement Of The Heart puts it so well –
