I want to thank those of you who have already participated in the COATS FOR KIDS Benefit I’ve offered these past two weeks, and we are down to the final couple of days. This project was started over 20 years ago by our church – Zion Lutheran of Macon, MO. During this time over $26,000 donated by civic organizations, business and personal donations, along with grants. Over 1300 coats have been purchased, and the need grows every year. There is still time to participate and help with funds for children!
So let’s help purchase coats AND have some fun crafting to raise money at the same time! The SECRET GARDEN CARDMAKING KIT is currently on sale for 30% off, and there SO MANY PRODUCTS INCLUDED!!! For every kit purchased at the link below (or we can place a big order for those who can pick up at my home) I will donate $12.50 to Coats For Kids now thru December 7.
The kit includes:
- 16 card bases and envelopes
- 12 sheets of DSP in multiple prints
- The Secret Garden Stamp Set
- The Secret Garden Dies
- coordinating gems to embellish
- directions for multiple cards you can use the above materials to create
For those purchasing at the link below, I will email my tutorial with 8-10 MORE CARDS I created with these supplies!!! LOTS of papercrafting while also helping the Coats For Kids Program!!!! It’s a double win for sure!!!
To purchase the kit above, to receive my emailed tutorial, AND to help put winter coats on children in need, click on the link below – the link will open up directly to the kit that you can add to your shopping cart for purchase! How easy is that???

Nothing warms the heart more than seeing a smile on the face of a child. And one the face of a child gifted with a new winter coat – priceless.
Final Thoughts….
Pool Boy and I are taking a few days away to relax and spend time with his mom. We will be heading to Branson all of next week to take in a couple of shows, hit one of our favorite Italian restaurants, as well as enjoy the Christmas lights and decorations. This will be a low-key trip so I’m planning no crafting (but I can’t help it if one of my paper pumpkin kits or all inclusive kits from our online store jumps into the suitcase on it’s own!) I am planning to write the tutorial for the card benefit above, AND will be doing some short posts so don’t be surprised when you get a notification of a new post on our blog!
Paper share info will be coming soon, so be watching how you can score a portion of all of the new DSP’s heading our way! AND, dates are already being set for some January crafting!! Just a reminder there will be NO FB LIVES next week on our business or group page since Pam and I are both travelling. Pam will be enjoying sunny Florida with her son and his family so be sure to check back on Monday the 16th for FB LIVES to return.
Until then, have a blessed day!!! Enjoy some crafting, creating, AND the warmth of participating in the Coats For Kids project!!! Thank you in advance for supporting this project so very dear to my heart.
