Good morning and happy Wednesday to everyone!!! Here is hoping you have a great day for the middle of the week! I’ve shared with you before that Wednesdays are the favorite day of the week for kids in school because it means “Chicken Patty Wednesday” for lunch. How they love those chicken patties! Years ago we had a student who had to stay home due to illness and his mother called in and requested a lunch to GO because he was beside himself about missing the chicken patty at school! LOL!!! She came in and picked up that lunch and took it home to him – I’m thinking the grocery store would have been easier and cheaper – get a box of patties for the cost of the school lunch but to each their own!!!!
The November Stamp ‘n Sip project!
The beginning of each month is prep time for our Stamp ‘n Sip project. I rotate projects with my stamp ‘n sip girls monthly – might be a sampler, framed art, cards with techniques, gift ideas – just for variety sake. They love gathering around my dining room table and sharing the news from the past month or what is on their horizon for the week. We used the Regal Reindeer bundle to create a beautiful winter scene to display during the wintry months coming. I took a card designed by Carol Buckalew – I loved her scene using Soft Succulent as the background! With the addition of the Snowfall Accent Puff Paint it made the scene pop for sure!
My project is minor compared with the girl time, giggles, and laughs – being together is the drawing point. They need their girl time, and my husband even commented last night how much he enjoyed the gals coming. He doesn’t craft with us BUT he is right in the thick of them laughing! That is also what makes Stampin’ Up so wonderful and unique – it’s not simply the projects. It’s the wonderful way to bring creativity and friendship together!!!

When ordering your kits, think about who else might enjoy gathering and crafting with you – your mom, your closest friends, your co-workers, your neighbors!!! The crafting is fun but remember – the wonderful time of gathering and laughing with friends is the key!!! It is truly the special part of Stampin’ Up!
Final Thoughts…..
My upline Pam Cosby and I are looking forward to gathering with a few hundred of our Stampin’ Up friends in Arlington, Texas this weekend for Stampin’ Up’s yearly event, On Stage. During our time together they will be sharing news in the paper crafting world, unveiling the upcoming mini catalog AND celebrating with those who are top performing achievers with the company. We are travelling a day early to take part in a “pre-On Stage” Creative Extravaganza AND are participating in an On Stage After Party with several other demos who are attending. Looking forward to gathering together in person for sure!
