We arrived in Houston after dropping a friend off at her son’s to visit for a few days, and other than the whole weird one way streets that kind of have no rhyme or reason in downtown Houston it has been a great trip. And the one way streets are fine, BUT google Maps doesn’t see some of these streets as one way, and after driving around Austin and McKinney St. multiple times trying to get to the Convention Center Pool Boy called the Google Maps Voice some highly colorful names!!! I can not possibly repeat them but use your imagination!
Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so off we went to the first dining adventure – Irma’s. Let me just say we had to have had the most delicious tamales EVER!!! OMG!!!!! Pool Boy saw the restaurant on Diners Drive Inn’s and Dives and it lives up to the hype. Excellent!!!
The Parade Of Birthday Cards!!!
I was able to get the photos loaded and edited, so below are cards we received for our birthday. First, to make the cut it had to be a homemade card. And if I have accidentally left a card out of the photos I am so very sorry!!! I tried to be sure to get photos but I may well have missed one and if so, I am sorry!!!!
Final Thoughts….
Everything about OnStage is enjoyable, and tonight we get to go back for a special stamping event with a new bundle we selected. Tomorrow there will be more onstage stamping, recognition, the Product Showcase to walk through, make and takes, etc. but truly the BEST part is getting to catch up with our friends from the many years of attending events. We visited with Michelle and Diane who we first met in Salt Lake City 7 years ago. We caught up with Luly and Toni that we met in Milwaulkee, and then we caught up with Lori – she sat between us on the airplane to Orlando 5 years ago and we picked her brain for business ideas. We met up with Bonnie and Joey who we sat with in New Orleans and Las Vegas at the BackStage events and are so blessed to have them as friends. We look forward to enjoying the whole OnStage experience with these friends.
Until tomorrow, have a great day and God Bless!
