Getting Ready For OnStage!

We are down to less than a week before Pam and I travel to California for OnStage. I signed up for a Fun Fold Swap with Michael Diehl with Dapper Gent Designs, as well as the swap for our Accountability Group. We are participating in the Stamping After Hours event hosted by Stampin’ Up, and a Mix and Mingle session as well as the daily agendas, so we will be busy.

All of these things take time to be a part of – even if you DON’T have everything assembled and ready to go by the time the plane takes off. We’ve sat beside a demo diligently putting all of her swaps together on the plane, and I’ve seen many a demo holding court in the hotel lobby frantically putting things together. There will be some who have a few swaps to distribute while we wait for doors to open, and there’s one gal – known as the Swap Queen – who makes HUNDREDS of swaps so she has that many to display for her customers when she gets home.

I had all of my swaps prepped and ready to assemble a couple of weeks ago, and thank goodness for my friend Arlene who worked on them yesterday while volunteering at the hospital gift shop. As a thank you I’m giving her a full package of the Homemade Sweetness DSP. That leaves me with just a few goody bags to share with my group I will hang with – Bonnie, Tina, Joey, and Pam – as well as a couple more special people.

One of my favorite products sold by Stampin’ Up! are the clear cellophane envelopes, and they are super for treat bags!!!!! I will be sharing this tonight on our group Facebook live. These clear envelopes work well for so many things – you actually can MAIL them, they are great to store your cards/envelopes for future use, flip books, as well as treat bags. Share if you have other ideas for these little gems – I know there has to be many more!
