Good morning everyone and welcome to the start of a new week!!! We are looking at a busy week ahead with multiple things to do each day before our trip to Germany next week. I don’t know about you, but I HATE to pack a suitcase! I always pull too much stuff to go in the luggage, then when it doesn’t fit everything has to come back out so I can re-evaluate.
Maybe it would go better if I didn’t wait until the last thing to pack – must be an unconscious aversion to the whole packing issue! Once I have it knocked down to a reasonable amount of clothing, I have to shuffle it around so half of each of our clothing is in one suitcase, the other half in the second one! ARG!!! Wish I could just twitch my nose like Samantha on Bewitched and it would be done!
Casing A Technique From Robin Armbrecht
Last week at our team meeting – The Stamp ‘n Sip Gals – Johnna Bixenman Clarke shared a technique from Robin Armbrecht with Really Robin Stamps. The technique is called “Stack, Cut, and Shuffle” and it’s a simple technique that gives you multiple looks. Johnna shared how she “stepped it up” by adding an embossing folder, rotating the patterns from a vertical look to a horizontal look, adding a scalloped mat on the back, etc. Multiple little tweaks that can make your cards different!
Today’s FB LIVE and YouTube Showing the Technique!
Today’s FB LIVE will be using this technique with different DSPS – Perfectly Penned and Hues Of Happiness. I’ll be going LIVE at 9am central time if you want to join me, or you can click on the link below to catch the recording! And while you are there, please follow me so you receive notifications of future FB LIVES and stamping events!

The focus has been on the holiday mini for weeks, but it was time to switch back to the annual catalog! We are just like little kids when it comes to toys – when the new toys come, the old ones get pushed away. That’s the way it is with our catalogs, but our Annual Catalog is such a great resource for ideas!!!! Keep it handy on your worktable or desk so you can go back and look at card ideas and techniques to keep your paper crafting fresh!Until tomorrow, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
