So we are continuing with our poished stone examples, and this one is a definite fave of mine!!!! I used Boho Blue, Orchid Oasis, and Starry Sky to create this stunning background, then used it as a backdrop for the second die from the Gorgeous Garden set. By the way, these dies cut out PERFECTLY!!!! Didn’t have to pull or push the little pieces, then pray it didn’t tear! There have been times over the years that we had issues, but this set worked great!
Can you see the extra tiny detail in the white label of the card???? It’s the tiniest “x” in the middle of each side!!!! What a cute detail!!! The die came from the Timeless Arrangement dies and greeting came from the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set. I added a touch of vellum with the Decorative Circle punch and a couple of gems completed the card.
Final Thoughts….
So, we are currently sailing in and out of the Fjords of Norway. We have 4 ports where the ship docks and allows us to go on land tours. Our ports are:
- Haugesund and so far, I have yet to decide if we will take an excursion or simply stroll the city square.
- Geiranger where we are taking a scenic drive to the Fjord Center and on to Mount Dalsnibba
- Olden where we are visiting Lake Stryn for Svele (Norway’s unique pancake)
- and last is Stavanger where we are taking a cruise to Lysefjord where the Pulpit Rock is located.
