Have Craft Supplies, Will Travel!!

Our home for the new few days in the Garden District. We took a drive around the French Quarter today, so I’m in awe of the beautiful wrought iron filigree – be prepared for a few pictures sharing some later in the week!

We have arrived in New Orleans!! The home of distinctive music, creole cuisine, celebrations and festivals, and come the week before Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras. Stampin’ Up’s Back Stage begins later in the week so we have a few days to spend sightseeing and enjoying the city. BUT I’m determined to be back in my weekly routine, so 30 minutes before we left I went to my craft room and packed one more bag – my craft supplies!

So how do you decide what to bring???? My starting point was the Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin! I’ve yet to open the full kit BUT by going to the kit description I posted a couple of times I knew which colors coordinated with the kit! I gathered the ink spots that coordinated along with card stock to have on hand through the week.

Besides the basic tools and the coordinating supplies listed above, I grabbed a blending brush and my microfiber cloth. I have an alternative idea to try with the Paper Pumpkin supplies and, hoping it works out, I can try the same idea with the Trimming The Tree bundle that is part of the Perfect Partners promotion coming for September. So in went Garden Green, Sea Side Foam, and Real Red items also. Less than 30 minutes and I was packed in one small bag ready to travel! Fingers crossed it works out or I wasted those 30 minutes!!!

We worked hard for 2 days – even Nora helped and she thought it was fun
!! LOL – we have EVERYTHING prepped and bagged, ready to package on the return. That is over 240 CARDS ready to go!!! Thank goodness for my Pool Boy’s help!!

A PERFECT VIEW For Football Fans!

SO, it’s not Arrowhead in Kansas City, but I’m liking the view of the Super Dome for the Saints! Tried to get Jim to go to the game on Friday night but he’s not biting. Think I will have to watch from afar! If KC had been here playing he would have been asking ME to go instead!

Final Thoughts…

My plan is to be back with a FB LIVE on Monday, although not sure as to the time. Cause you know, we are on a vacation!!! Until next time, keep stamping and crafting, and God Bless!!
