Good morning friends!!!! Welcome to to the 2nd day of our Taco Fiesta week!!! This stamp set is such a cute one with all of the food items and faces available – makes for endless possibilities!!! I was able to churn it out in about 30 minutes before we left for dinner with our son Evan and daughter-in-law Rachel. Of course, having time with baby Calvin James was the icing on the cake! Without a doubt he knows his Papa and Nana, first with the smile on his face and now with reaching out for us to hold him. He’s at the age where he enjoys having a blanket and toys on the floor and goes from tummy to sitting up. He’s not yet figured out the whole crawling thing but so very close on his hands and knees with the rocking – once that happens there will be no stopping him!!
A Fun Trio Of Cactus Caballeros!
Isn’t this cute????? I took pieces of my card stock scraps and cut them at angles then glued together on a mat to make the fun background. After gluing, I ran the mat through the die machine with an embossing folder to add texture. I continued the color scheme to add color to the those cute cactus, then paired the greeting with the stamp set Biggest Wish.
A sprinkling of candy, a clever sentiment, and a winking cactus finished the inside of the card! This card will be perfect for Rachel’s birthday this weekend – she has such a fun laugh and wil love the cuteness of the card.

Final Thoughts…..
Back in February on our trip to the Super Bowl in Phoenix we had a great drive surrounded by these beautiful cacti! They were growing everywhere on the hillsides! The Saguaro cactus is is such a unique symbol of our American desert. I highly recommend you visit the Saquaro national park around Tucson to see these beauties. Seemed fitting to share this picture since they are the stars of today’s card!
I’ll be back tomorrow to continue our Taco Fiesta! Until then, take care my friends, and God Bless!
