May is a busy month when you think of graduations and the end of the school year for the rest of the students. Throw in Memorial Day at the end which reminds us that Summer is upon us, and that’s a busy month. BUT there is a very sweet, very wonderful day that is all about honoring our mothers. And special mothers deserve a special card made just for them!
Perfect Cards For Both Our Daughter And Our Daughter In Law!
We are so blessed to have our daughters Megan and Rachel, and this year we can celebrate both of them for the wonderful moms they are! Megan has been a mom for over 8 years and she is very proud of the fact she is raising two strong-willed, independent girls that will be leaders as adults. But in her words, the youngest “may be the leader of her prison gang!” LOL!!!!! And just this past January Rachel joined the ranks of motherhood with the arrival of our sweet grandson. Both Megan and Rachel’s faces light up with love when they look at their babies and they will tell you that being a mom is one of the most wonderful titles to have, and also one of the most terrifying!
Link To Our Private Group Page Where I Shared These Cards!
Last night on our FB LIVE Pam and I shared cards using the Countryside Inn DSP – totally unplanned!!! I will be sharing her card later this week, but we even used the exact same print from the DSP package! We have been gathering with our stamping friends for three years now and our group grows every week. We are unrehearsed and you get what you get, but we have fun gathering and sharing papercrafting with others, and there is ALWAYS room for more! Click on the link below and request to join us!!!

Final Thoughts…..
It’s holidays such as Mother’s Day that I find bettersweet since my mom has been gone for 10 years. How I wish she was here to enjoy seeing Megan as a momma, to meet Rachel and to see our grandbabies. She would be so proud of them. Family was everything to Momma and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for each and everyone. When we knew her cancer was advancing and not going to stop, I asked her if she would feel up to making a baby quilt for Megan to have for a future baby. Being my mom, she didn’t stop there. She made Megan TWO baby blankets, AND she made TWO for our son Evan as well in case he got married! I held on to Evan’s blankets for 10 years. It was pure joy to hand those baby blankets to Rachel at one of her baby showers and to know that my Momma’s hands created them for our babies. Those babies were wrapped in love.
Happy Mother’s Day Mom and I love you so much! I can hear her in her dry humor with a twinkle in her eye -“Love you too – now get out of here and don’t speed driving home!!” LOL!!! And I just now realized I forgot to type up the TUTORIAL!!!!! I will post it tomorrow!!! God Bless!
