We’ve known it was coming for months, and this week Stampin’ Up has unveiled their brand new Scrapbooking Line!! And true to Stampin’ Up fashion, the kits and products included in the scrapbook line coordinate perfectly with products found in the Holiday Mini catalog which goes live Sept. 4!!
Scrapbooking was one thing I avoided when it became popular back in the 80’s and 90’s. Life was so hectic at that time, with staying involved in our kids’ activities, my demanding job as a music teacher and director, commitments at church, AND painting for craft shows – think ornaments, bricks, etc. I had no time to add one more hobby or activity to my plate. It wasn’t until I was preparing for retirement that I knew I needed something to fill the void heading my way – children grown and flown the nest, no daily job to prepare for, and life slowing down. It was at that point I accepted an invitation to a stamping club and I fell in love with paper crafting – but still NOT scrapbooking!
So I wasn’t really excited about this new line coming our way — until I saw the brochure with new products heading our way on Sept. 4!!! Scrapbooking kits, stamp sets, A 12 page package of HALLOWEEN DSP, and layouts for scrapbooking!!!

Final Thoughts….
I still not sure I’m jumping on the scrapbooking bandwagon, BUT I see potential in the products coming because I know they can enhance my crafting, cardmaking projects. Will I be jumping to try the 2 tone card stock? Absolutely! Will I be ordering the Halloween DSP???? YES! And I love the fall stamp set heading our way as well. Be sure to check out the products to see how they can enhance your paper crafting skills as well. Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
