Change is inevitable, isn’t it? Things come, things go. And usually in that process growth occurs. Right now, as I’m typing this post on Wednesday night I’m dealing with a big change that occurred today with our KC Chiefs – no more Tyreek Hill streaming down the field at Arrowhead!!! UGH! Yet, some one else will step up and eventually someone may fill his shoes and who knows – be even better. It’s part of life and every year around this time we say goodbye to the retiring In Colors from Stampin’ Up and hello to the new ones! Sometimes we end up missing a color – no more Misty Moonlight – BUT we gain 5 new colors to play with! Who knows – one might even be better!
Meet SWEET SORBET!
I was excited when I saw this color – made me think of a retired color called Strawberry Slush but this one has a touch of the retired color Watermelon Wonder too!
It’s Parakeet Party Time!
Parakeet Party – not as in your face as Granny Apple Green, not as yellowish as Lemon Lime Twist, but brighter than Wild Wasabi. Several have compared it to a retired color called Lucky Lime-aid.
Time For Tahitian Tide!
Now this is the one I’m not sure about. It reminds me a bit of Tempting Turquoise that Stampin’ Up retired several years ago with the last Color Refresh and it didn’t bother me at all. Rarely used it so will be interesting to see how people pair this with other colors. What colors would you pair it with?????
Seeing The Beauty Of Starry Sky!!!
I’m excited to see an added dark blue besides Night Of Navy. This one has a touch of purple that almost makes it a dark periwinkle shade that will work well with all of the new in colors! It will also pair well with our regular colors Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Real Red – just to name a few!
LOVING Orchid Oasis!!!!
OK – my favorite one is THIS ONE!!! I was thrilled to see this and it is the closest Stampin’ Up has come to a periwinkle shade! Look at how it pairs with the Sweet Sorbet!!!! Can’t wait to get this one ordered and headed to my house!
Finale of The 2022-2024 In Colors!!!
Thank you Stampin’ Up for this fun way of introducing the new In Colors BUT ALSO for providing this fun picture showing how well these colors work together! I’m going to be able to say goodbye to Misty Moonlight BECAUSE I have these shades to look forward to! Can’t wait to see them in real life and to begin creating and playing! Change CAN be a good thing!
But right now I’m still not ready to accept Tyreek Hill in a football uniform other than the Chiefs. Gonna take me a little bit to over come that one! LOL!!
Until next time, keep stamping and creating, and God Bless!!!
