Such a cold wintry day in northeast Missouri!!! Times like this I’m so very thankful for gas fireplaces and remote self starters on cars!!! I’m thankful for many things, but those two are sure appreciated on days when the temp is in the negatives!
A Beautiful Gift From A Dear Friend!

I want to share with you a lovely gift I received this week from one of my team members – Johnna Bixenman Clarke. Our paths crossed 35 years ago when we taught together at the small parochial school in Macon, MO. We played duets at many masses during those 5 years we were there with me on the organ, Johnna on the piano. Then as our lives took different directions with both moving to different schools, we lost touch as so many do. Fast forward years later, and we ran into each other outside an area grocery store for a short chat, and eventually our lives circled back and merged again – through The Andy Griffith Show and paper crafting!!!!
Johnna enjoyed seeing my card creations, and asked me to make greeting cards with a group of ladies – all Andy Griffith fans! – and they had such a great time gathering they formed the Mayberry Card Guild from The Blood Brothers Fan Club of The Andy Griffith Show! (If you knew Johnna, you would know that when she jumps into something she gives a 110%!! Laura Ingalls Wilder, Blood Brothers, Mayberry Card Guild, Bingo, and card making are a few that come to mind!) So, if you enjoy creating cards, the obvious choice is to purchase the starter kit for discounts, right?!?! She did just that!
Red and Black Are Such Classy Colors For Valentines!

Always an educator (once it’s in your blood, you can’t get rid of it because of retirement!!!), Johnna loves to watch videos for new techniques and fun folds. This card design is called Awesome Angles by Robin Armbrecht with ReallyRobinStamps.com. FYI to Johnna – as a retired English teacher, if you are critiquing my grammar through this post, I do not want to hear it!!! LOL!!!!!

So Where Does She Go From Here???
Johnna became interested in card swaps, so she has organized a couple with our private FB Page, and she wants to pursue a card ministry with her church parish in Wein, MO so later this spring she will do just that! Because she gives her heart and soul to her projects I know she will accomplish it and introduce stamping to others! So proud of you girl! So thrilled that through Stampin’ Up!, I reconnected with a dear friend from years past, met new friends to share my paper crafting passion with, and the opportunity to create joy for others on this paper crafting journey. Until next time, keep crafting and stamping, keep sharing your joys and talents with others, and God Bless!
