What a beautiful day it was on the lake yesterday! Sunshine, little wind, smooth as glass. Took a bit for the walleye to bite, and we lost several off the line, but we still caught the limit. And yes, I caught not one but TWO. We didn’t keep the first one because of the size limitation, and the second one was a really nice one, but there were two more on the line and before I could get a picture it was added to the cooler so the next two could be reeled in. That meant I would have had to pick it up and that wasn’t happening. Pool Boy says that the one I caught doesn’t count since there’s no picture to verify it, so that means I have to repeat today. Darn.
Pool Boy had a great day so truly that’s all that matters. We go again tomorrow for our final day, depending on weather. There’s a chance of winds that will keep fishing from happening, but we can always take the ferry to one of the islands for sightseeing, so either way will be fine.
