Good morning and Happy Thursday! Last night during our FB LIVE on our private group page Pam and I shared several tips and techniques with water coloring. I’m going to be truthful – I’m out of my element when it comes to water coloring, simply because I’ve little experience. Thank goodness Stampin’ Up has made it easier with their water painters from the annual catalog!
I cased this card from a gorgeous card created by Jolanda Johnstone with The Inque Spot Studio and that is spelled correctly! She used the Pretty Medallion and it was stunning so check her out on Google. Using water color paper and versa mark, I added stamped images of the holly leaves in The Leaves Of Holly stamp set, then embossed with white powder. I added color to the leaves with blotches of Soft Sea Foam, Soft Succulent, and also touches of Evening Evergreen. By using an acrylic block as a palette, place a couple of drops – they will go a long way! – from the ink refills – easy to clean!

Final Thoughts… If You Remove Art from the word Earth, It Leaves You with “eh”! Think About It!
Hoping you find a cool spot for the day, and you can find some time to feed your creative soul with crafting. My mother was a crafter (sewing, crocheting, and quilting), my sister followed the path with quilting, my mother in law crocheted, my daughter knits, and I went the way of painting and paper crafting. There are so many ways to nurture your creativity but for many the hardest part is simply finding the time. Make it a priority – even for a short amount of time – to craft and create! You deserve it!
Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
