Good morning and Happy Monday!! Not really sure any Monday is happy but trying to keep a positive spin here! We had our grandson fix Saturday night when we babysat the two little boys. Ben LOVES walking and his big game is “follow me ’round the kitchen island” OVER and OVER and OVER. Pretty sure we made more than 20 rotations, but I was game if it was going to wear him down! Cal had an ear infection the end of last week so he was a bit on the crabby side, but that’s ok – we understand and love them anyways.
Paper Share DSP packages are here, and I spent Sunday afternoon cutting and packaging. We are still waiting on the labels to come back from the printer’s, so I’m shooting to get them in the mail on Friday. This is a busy week with in-person Bingo on Thursday which means cutting card stock, packaging, and prepping the make and takes. Our son’s birthday is today so his family will be over for his birthday dinner tonight, so no FB LIVE this afternoon. “Sonshine” comes first!

On Saturday morning I played with this easy fun fold and the Cute As A Bug Suite. I’m really surprised how much I’ve enjoyed working with the suite, and I feel like there’s still possibilities unexplored, so my focus is going to remain on the bugs paper this week!

The top photo shows how well the card displays with the Easel fun fold, and the 2nd photo shows how easy it is to lay flat to slide into a regular sized envelope. I had to do some fancy cutting – which is just ok for me! – to get the little bugs having tea and the tiny toadstools! My color combo was Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, and Petal Pink that I took straight from the DSP colors.

From the very beginning I’ve stressed that this paper wasn’t simply for bug lovers. There are several patterns included in the DSP paper that work well for other occasions, such as the baby card above. SAME DSP without the whole bug thing going on. I started with a base of Petal Pink, then included Mossy Meadow as well, then turned to the stamp set Cutest Onsie for the diecuts included on the card front. I promise there will be people wondering where that DSP came from because they didn’t familiarize themselves with the extra patterns that are bug-less!
