With Christmas over and New Year’s just around the corner, I began the whole “declutter” thing this weekend. Pool Boy and I have been working our way through a couple of closets and I’ve a couple of boxes waiting to be taken to our local donation center already. This is one of the things I try to accomplish with the arrival of the new year, and it’s easiest to do while the weather outside is yucky. Once spring hits with warmer weather – who wants to stay inside cleaning closets??? I hit our walk in closet earlier this fall hard, and I’m trying to live with the whole “one new thing in, one old thing out” mantra but I forget sometimes.
I am needing to do the same with my craft room, but since I share it with the granddaughters when they visit I’m on hold until after their visit on New Year’s Day. I’m working on getting projects together for January classes as well. Before you know it, we will be back in the swing with classes as well as activities with church and friends.
I love framed art when it comes to papercrafting, so I was working on this beautiful 5 x 7 inch frame insert for Valentine’s Day. You kind of need to roll out those Valentine things by mid January since the actual day is in the middle of February instead of the end. I turned to the Hearts Of Elegance Suite in the Online Exclusives with a couple of extra things thrown in as well.
There is some beautiful detail in the dies of this bundle, and I love the marbled DSP with gold accents – perfect for the occasion!
Tomorrow I will be back with the info for both SPEED BINGO and also IN PERSON BINGO because they will be here before you know it! Until then, find a closet or shelf to work on, then go ahead and craft the rest of the day! With that little big of cleaning you can justify crafting the remainder of the day! Until tomorrow, God Bless!
