This is the kind of week that is going to play with my mind. Having the Monday off due to a holiday gets me mixed up when it comes to the days of the week. And then let’s compound it with no more school so my whole schedule thing is wonky and I will have to adjust. My hair appointment got moved to this morning so my Mayberry Card Guild had to move to this afternoon, a Stamp ‘n Sip group is coming on Thursday, a flying trip to see our granddaughter play softball, then back home to a wedding reception, and somewhere in that mess I will be prepping for a card class! But that’s ok because I actually prefer weeks like this – busy and active. I am much better being goal oriented then taking it easy. I’ve run too many years at full speed to just all of the sudden stop. Going to have to learn that “taking it easy” thing, aren’t I?
Hooray For BaseBall!
Even though I’ve not used this set a lot, I love the vintage look of both the stamps and the the dies. The ticket stubs that you can die cut directly from the DSP, the distressed images in the paper and retro dies such as the banners and tickets (there are no more tickets, people! It’s all done by apps on the phone!) This DSP color combo included Evening Evergreen and Bumble Bee, but my Bumble Bee has been depleted with it’s recent retiring as an in color. Luckily, Crushed Curry could fill in as a replacement! And lucky for me I still have this month to create with this set before it is retired!
LAST CHANCE SALE Begins June 1!
Beginning WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1 we will start saying goodbye to the products found in the Jan-June Mini Catalog. By now you have an idea what will be leaving since you have the new annual catalog in hand, but a few things will be carrying over to next year’s Jan-June mini catalog. Below is the list that Stampin’ Up provided us showing what items are also going to be discounted. Be sure to study and look to see if there is anything you have missed because once it retires, you may not see it again. Stampin’ Up has only once in my 9 years placed stamp sets on the Clearance rack – other than that one time I’ve never seen them do so – keep that in mind! So check the list, know what you want, and be sure to pick it up before it disappears or sells out.
Final Thoughts…
I hope you had a good holiday weekend doing what you enjoy doing – whether it was vegging and relaxing, or productive and busy – whatever makes you happiest. Have a great start to the week even though it is Tuesday, and keep crafting, keep stamping, and God Bless!
