It’s been a busy week with two classes in three days, but our luggage is somewhat packed and I’m down to writing this morning’s post, packing some craft supplies to take with me, and finishing up the last suitcase before we will be on our way. I know there are people who you can pay to organize and declutter your house, others to clean your house, businesses who will take care of your outside yard work – WHY is there no one who you can hire to pack your suitcases??? I’ll either have way too much or not enough, and there is no happy in between! I’d much rather EMPTY the luggage and put everything away when we get home then trying to figure out what to take. It’s like shooting an arrow in the dark, unable to see the target!
I know, there is a quick way to relieve me from packing suitcases, and that’s simply stop travelling. I am thankful that we can travel though during retirement. So, I will continue to complain and grumble about packing, BUT I’ll keep doing it because I’m glad we can have these opportunities.
My Least Favorite DSP For Today’s Fun Fold!

These are super quick photos sharing what I consider my least favorite DSP – Masterfully Made from the retiring annual catalog. Now, some people loved this bright DSP, but the patterns were too busy and garish for me. This was one of my favorite patterns with the Pretty Peacock, Berry Burst, and Fresh Freesia colors. Paired with a simple stamp set and a couple of dies for labels it turned out bright and cheery.
Final Note…..
Just as I didn’t love the Masterfully Made DSP there are people that LOVED it! Same with travelling – some enjoy packing, others are like me and wait to the last minute. It’s the same with the Stampin’ Up catalog – one stamper may love a stamp set and and another person will say yuck! It’s the way of the world and it takes a variety of people to make the world go round, right?
My new annual catalogs are ordered, and will be here when we return from Destin. If you are needing a copy please let me know. Our catalog is kind of like the Masterfully Made DSP – some love it, some not so much. I encourage you to take time and really study it when you have it in hand. The layout is very different but there are definitely things to like and embrace and I hope you can do so.
And for me – I will try to embrace packing suitcases!!!! Until next time, have a great day, find time to craft and create, and God Bless!
