Today’s card shows the beauty of the hybrid embossing folder with silver foil. There is something magical about opening an embossing folder after running it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine! You already KNOW what’s going to happen, but seeing the final project with all of the raised images gives a paper crafter such a mental rush. Pair an embossing folder with foil – OMG!
Changing Simply Elegant DSP with Blending Brushes!
My up line and friend Pam Cosby shared this beautiful card on our private Facebook customer/friends group page this week. Isn’t it gorgeous??!!! She CASEd a card from Penny Richards but changed the color from Cherry Cobbler that Penny used to Night of Navy. Using the Blending Brushes completely changes the look of this paper selection from the DSP Simply Elegant in the annual catalog.
Giving the Envelope a Little Lovin’
To dress up the envelope, simply cut a 2 inch wide strip of paper, measure the length of your flap and add a quarter to a half inch for the desired length. Color with your blending brushes, then add adhesive to the outside edge of your envelope flap. Glue the DSP in place, then trim the excess off!
