By the time this post arrives in your mailbox, we will already be flying home from Long Beach. Hard to believe it’s already Friday, and the 2nd day of October!!!
So yesterday I shared some of the cards for the Mom Co Christmas Card Activity Night, and here are the remaining cards. Keep in mind, these are just ideas for crafting their cards – there are so many pieces included in the product goody bag they will receive, they can change them up and put their own spin on the cards! And when the 10 cards are made, they will have a variety of items to take home and turn into gift tags or more cards on their own.
These green fleck card bases and envelopes are perfect for nights such as this, and reasonable for only $10. I will throw in some rhinestones and twine to use if they want, but truly it’s to simply create and craft in a non-stress way. What better way to craft then gathering with friends????
Monthly Benefit For A Young Family In Northeast Missouri!
We have a young couple in our community who has endured a long month following a horrible wreck. Joey Hagers was involved in a horrible accident on Labor Day, and has a long road ahead for recovery. His wife Bailey is a graduate of our community, and connected with our church Zion Lutheran as a member. They have a baby who will be turning 1 later this month, and her mother runs a small printing company in our town. I’m thankful for Mindy and her printing talents with flyers, labels, invoice printing, etc. to support my small business, so this month I would like to turn the table and support them.
During the month of October, all of my commissions will be donated to help Bailey and Joey with bills they are accumulating from his extensive hospital stay and recovery. Even though Bailey’s been at the hospital through much of September there is still a baby that needs diapers and child care. Many mothers, grandmothers, and friends have stepped up to care for the baby while his grandmother Mindy works at the printing company. My hope is to provide them a cushion for infant needs while his parents are together at the hospital focused on rehabilitation.
This will include commissions from stamping clubs and monthly groups, events such as Bingo and Speed Bingo, card classes, pop up classes, and any orders placed in my online store. Be watching for events listed, and online orders may be placed in my online store at the link below:
