I needed a quick Thanksgiving card to get in the mail this week, and having been sick I was struggling to get into my craft room and create. My recliner with fuzzy blanket and fire place going was what I needed. But yesterday afternoon I was ready to go in and play a bit. I decided to simply take my FB LIVE card from Monday – the one with the decorative masks – and recreate for Thanksgiving instead.
I used the Rustic Harvest DSP as my start point, and chose the colors of Basic Black and Mossy Meadow as the card base and mats. Instead of creating a front panel with the masks as I did Monday, I simply chose a pattern in the DSP package. My Pumpkin and flowers came from the Hello Harvest bundle, and the greeting was found in the Fond Of Autumn stamp set. I added the Crushed Curry scalloped label to help make the flowers pop against the white/black pattern of the DSP. Embellishments of ribbon and the new swirly gold gems from the Fitting Florets Suite quickly finished the card off. If you missed the PDF and FB LIVE click on the link below:

A Quick Change With Photopolymer Stamps!
Do you remember that one of the perks with photopolymer stamps is the ability to take a greeting that is originally straight on a block and change it by adding a curve???? Such a simple thing that adds versatility to our stamps!!! If I had stamped it the the original way it was intended, I wouldn’t have been able to fit it on the scalloped label completely.
