My Faves From The Retiring List - Part 2! - Lola Rist, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Happy First Sunday of April!!! I LOVE how the yards come to life during the spring time – from the dreary grayness of winter to the full color spread of spring. I had a children’s book that illustrated a simple song for my kindergarten classes in music where each verse – and black and white page spread – would add another color layer to the pages until the last pages were completely filled in. Our grass has greened up, I’ve daffodils blooming everywhere and soon the redbuds will begin to take on the purple haze! I can’t wait but Jim can – he said he’s not yet ready to start thinking about mowing! So — on to the last 4 favorites on the LAST CHANCE PRODUCT LIST!!!

FAVORITE TRIM/RIBBON!

I prefer a thin width ribbon over thick – 3/8ths and smaller is my preference, so the PLAYFUL PETS COMBO TRIM was one I loved! I will be truthful – I rarely used them together but each are a star in their own right. The red works well for Christmas tags and cards and Valentine treats, and the black/white baker’s twine goes with just about everything! A double win with this combo for sure!

Favorite In Color Item!

Misty Moonlight was a very popular color and most all of the items – stamp pad, refill, cardstock – are no longer available, BUT these blends still are and I loved having them as a lighter option for Night Of Navy! If you’ve not added these to your blend collection pick them up! There were times I wanted a brilliant blue flower and with no Ocean Pacific Blends your choice was either Balmy Blue or Night Of Navy – one too light, one too dark. In the words of Goldilocks “Misty Moonlight Blends are JUST RIGHT!”

Favorite Punch WITHOUT A DOUBT – The Tailored Tag!

Without a doubt this and the last favorite are going to hurt! I offer easy card classes most months and I turn to my punches for ease of prep. This truly was a star for me because it worked for BOTH Masculine and Feminine cards! It was a breeze to layer and so many of our greetings will fit in the area so my class participants could select their own greetings and they knew which ones would work in the punched area. Going to miss you dearly TAILORED TAG!!!

Final Fave! The Stitched So Sweetly Dies!!!SOB!!

I used these dies SO MUCH since they came out!! I’m a sucker for stitching on labels – if it had the word “stitching” they were on my list. These were awesome and layered so well. Will be hard to replace with the combination of sizes and shapes. Truly my favorite of all.
