One More Card Using Strips Of Scraps!

I took time last night to clean my desk area from the recent craft hurricane that hit my room, and while I was there, I just had to roll one more card like yesterday’s out. Cards like this are so quick and easy to create, and when you just add a simple punch label to the card prep is easy. You could easily roll out a dozen or more cards like this in an hour or two.

I changed things up a bit, such as with the location of the label, but still based off yesterday’s card measurements.

• I exchanged the Softly Woven Embossing Folder for the Rustic Check 3D folder!
• Card stock used includes Real Red and Garden Green!
• A Stitched Season became the used DSP!
• The Rounded Rectangle Punch takes the place of the Advent Label Punch!
• And the greeting comes from the Festive Cheer stamp set!

So which is your favorite??? I’m not sure I can pick a fave, but I know of several more DSP’s I can turn to, helping me use up those scraps!

September Christmas Card Class Is Coming Soon!!!!

September 22 is our next Christmas Card Class – both available IN PERSON as well as BY MAIL. Can you believe that October will be our final Christmas card class??? We’ve been adding 8 cards monthly to our supply, so by the end of October – if you’ve attended all sessions – you will have 40 cards to share with your friends and loved ones – and that’s 20 DIFFERENT DESIGNS!!! Not bad when you spread it out over 5 months.

• The In Person class meets on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at Zion Lutheran Church in Macon, MO. beginning at 1:30pm
• The In Person class will be mailed no later than Friday, Sept. 25
• Card kits are FREE with a minimum order from Stampin’ Up!
• Make 8 cards – 2 of four designs!
• RSVP no later than Saturday, September 19! Online orders must be placed by the 19th so I have time to prep all cards at the same time!

Final Thoughts….

The dates for IN PERSON BINGO and ONLINE SPEED BINGO have been set, and I’ll be rolling those out to you the beginning of next week. Both events have special perks:

• In Person Bingo will include make and takes, and have a goody bag valued at over $25!
• Speed Bingo is played online, with a card class centered around a goody bag valued at over $25 BUT an entirely different bag from the In Person Bingo!!!!
• Both events have gift certificates for prizes!!!!
