We survived the whirlwind visit – about 36 hours in length – from our daughter and the granddaughters, and within an hour of their departure we were on the road taking Jim’s mom home as well. We were sitting around the kitchen Island talking when I realized Fi was having an issue. She had the tiniest of scabs on the bridge of her nose, and now it was daring to bleed. Fiona Margaret had scratched off that offensive scab. Did I say this spot was tiny??? Think TINY PIN PRICK. It was no larger than that, and you had to squint ever so much to see the TINIEST DROP of BLOOD on a tissue. There were no tears, just “I’m bweeding” and she needed a band aid, cause they fix everything!

It would have been better had Nana had a smaller band aid, but what fun would that have been? I wonder how far down the road she made it til the band aid came off??? These are the life and times of our Fiona.
One Of Our Cards From Last Week’s Class – Added Texture!

This was one of the favorite cards from the Punch Party card class last week. I used the Dots and Spots die in the stand alone die section of our catalog to cut all of those dots out of the Real Red mat. And where did the fun black and white DSP come from??? The Zoo Crew DSP of course!
How did we get the stitch marks behind the ladybugs??? With the Basic Black Write Marker and simply free-handing it!!! The cute black and Real Red ladybugs tucked into the opposite corners of the scalloped contours label were the perfect touch to this adorable card, which started with the die for the added texture.
