Good Morning!! We woke up to a skiff of snow this morning, but it’s already melting! That’s one of the best things about March snows – they disappear fast! We had a wonderful weekend with our family – lots of visiting, hugs and cuddles, and our son Evan and his wife Rachel topped it off with a delicious dinner at their home last night – perfect way to celebrate our birthdays! Jim is 3 years and 1 day older than me, so the joke is he can ONLY forget my birthday IF I accidentally forget his the day before mine.
A Sweet Little Box Of Note Cards Courtesy Of Dollar Tree!
I saw this box posted on a friend’s group page, and wanted to play with the idea. Thank you to Maureen Rauchfuss from The Crazy Stamping Lady!! Jim and I had lunch with Maureen and her husband Paul while in Maui with Stampin’ Up!’s Incentive trip last May. Be sure to check her out on FB!!
After completing my box with the DSP, I cut 3 inch note cards and decorated with mats that coordinated with the Pansy Petal DSP. I used the Layering Circle Dies to add stamped flower and greeting for each card. I will put 10-12 finished notecards with envelopes inside, and slide into another Dollar Tree purchase – the cellophane bags! Tie it up with some of the coordinating sheer ribbon and you have a sweet little gift to share with someone for less than $5!
