A quick post while Fi is watching Saturday morning cartoons. She has been a true trooper this week and we have enjoyed having her. Bedtime has been difficult because that’s when she really misses her mom. Facetime can be a blessing, but also makes it difficult. She enjoys visiting with her family, and then it’s time for her momma to sing her a song (kind of gets me too hearing Megan’s beautiful singing voice), then the goodnight blowing kisses. Even Momma is teary when it’s over, but just a little bit of tears and she’s asleep. TOMORROW Momma will be here though, so just one more night!

I love the stripes in the Sweetest Christmas DSP but I don’t want to always use it with candy canes. I was able to take strips of the DSP and layer, then used the Trees For Sale stamp set and a greeting from the Brightest Glow stamp set. Paired with the Whimsical Woodland Embossing folder, it’s a quick, cute card that is easily reproducible.

Our color combo is Real Red and Garden Green, and I LOVE the cute jingle bells Stampin’ Up introduced to us in the holiday mini catalog!
Hopefully I’ll be back in the next couple of days with my regular posts. When you share craft room with our granddaughter’s guest bedroom it makes working a bit tricky! Until next time, keep stampin, keep craftin, and God Bless!
