This scene will be completely changed by noon today. Everything is set up for OnStage to begin later this afternoon and there will be people everywhere. Old friends chatting, swappers swapping cards, team members gathering for pictures, and just an overall atmosphere of excitement. They will be congregated at the ballroom entrance, just swarming for the doors to open.
Even at breakfast you could sense the excitement – at least from the women in the hotel breakfast areas. Pool Boy was like one of 4 guys having breakfast and none of them was brimming with excitement! I’ve already visited with ladies from Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Florida, and California who have arrived for the event. In fact, one of the ladies said the new preorder list was already available on the website, so this is going to be short so I can check it out!
No pictures of dinner last night! We chose to have seafood since Pam and Bill are not fans (as my friend Arlene says – no food should be swimming!) Today’s opening sessions will go until later in the evening with a “white out” party with everyone wearing white. I can only hope that the finger foods provided have no red sauces!!!
