I’m starting my day early since I have a dentist appointment this morning. I am so not excited about going. In fact, is there anyone who LOVES to go to the dentist???? Anyone who bounces out of bed because “Yay, it’s my annual dental appointment!”??? Who looks forward to having them pick and prod in your mouth, then get’s a needle stuck into their gums only to have the numb feeling for half of the day and pray that you aren’t drooling out of the corner of your mouth????
Yuck. Enough.

Last week I focused on the versatility of our notecard packets, so I wanted to share our FB LIVE from last night with Pam. The goal was to create 20 thank you notecards for our grandson’s birthday, using the laser cut dies included in the Storybook Moments DSP. I spent less than 2 hours prepping for the project by cutting the Timeless Plaid DSP mats along with coordinating card stock mats, then running a bowl full of label dies to include in our project.
Measurements for the mats are included below:
- DSP measurements – 3 x 4 1/2 inches
- Middle card stock mat – 3 1/8 x 4 5/8 inches
- Bottom card stock mat – 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches
I pulled some simple thank you stamps, and Pam ran some white labels, and away we went. Crafting on the fly! In just over 1 hour we had 20 notecards ready to go – with none alike! – and then we packaged in a gusseted celophane bag purchased from Dollar Tree, added a bow and a tag, and you have a great gift to take to wedding showers, baby showers, graduation parties, etc.!!!

I especially love to do the notecard gift bags for graduation because I create the notecards using the graduate’s school colors. It makes them personally designed!

Final Thoughts….
In the future I hope you won’t skip over our notecard/envelope packages. I keep multiple packages on hand so I can turn them into these awesome gift ideas. I mentioned last week that they would be so cute to design with a school motif then package with some ink pens for a favorite teacher! So many possibilities, but they are not possible unless you have them on hand!!!
Pool Boy didn’t sleep last night, and I’m trying to talk him into staying home while I drive to my appointment. He said he will be happy to simply sleep in the truck in the sunshine. Personally, I think he doesn’t want to miss laughing at me drooling!
Until next time, have a great day and keep stamping and crafting my friends. God Bless!
