Out With The Old, Let’s Bring In The New!!!!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!!! Some of you may still be celebrating and gathering throughout this week, but other than my Christmas trees up I’m ready to move on!!! December was almost non-existent for me with being under the weather. We celebrated Christmas with our children the weekend before and they were able to be home with their children for the holiday. The girls were thrilled with their presents from parents and Santa, and Cal was happy tearing some paper off the box, then climbing INTO the boxes that were empty. Boxes were much more fun than what was INSIDE the box! By next year he will be all about the gifts instead.

Wild Ferns With Poetic Expressions DSP!

After all the time away from my craft room I was excited to go back and do some simple creating, and since I am ready to move out of holiday mode, I immediately turned to my pre-order boxes to play with the next products!!! The top DSP package in the pile was the Poetic Expressions, so I grabbed it and fell in love with the two contrasting patterns above. The top stamp set was Wild Ferns, so the images and greeting were perfect for my white mat on the card front.

I tend to create with fun fold cards and monochromatic cards. It’s hard to make a bad card with just one color like Lost Lagoon, OR I could have added the darker complimentary color of Pretty Peacock as well. And probably 90% of the time I lean towards Basic White versus Very Vanilla for my neutral. Which do you prefer?????
