Well, we’ve made it to Friday and I have another card from our Techniques Class where we played with embossing folders. I mentioned yesterday that embossing folders were a big “Wow” for me, so one of the first pages I check out in a new catalog is to see what new folders are available. I also purchase most all of them because I never know when I might want one AND because they are so reasonable in price I get big bang for my buck.
Inking Your Folder With Versa Mark Before Dry Embossing!

The Fern embossing folder is one of my favorites!!! I love how beautifully Stampin’ Up was able to get the detail on the fern fronds, and when you heat emboss it on top of black cardstock it turned out stunning. Simple, elegant – love it! I paired it with Very Vanilla and Cajun Craze for a change of pace, and the edge of the Cajun Craze is cut with the Elegant Borders Dies available only online in the Online Exclusive tab. It comes with 4 different edges to add variety and beauty to card mats and bases.
What’s On My Table Today????

This week I was determined to knock out a couple of projects that have been sitting in my craftroom. They were on my list BEFORE the incentive trip, but when I realized how I was running out of time before leaving I pushed them to the back burner to be completed after our return. These thank you cards are going to a local hospital to thank our healthcare workers for their dedication to their profession.
Nursing and the medical field is truly a calling from God, and one I am SO HAPPY I didn’t hear!!! But then, teaching is also a calling from God and that I did hear. Put me in a room with 100 kids on risers and I am in my happy place directing them, but put me in a room with one sick person, not for me. Poor Pool Boy discovered that as we recooperated from knee and hip replacements. Many people would feel the 100 kids thing would be torture so to each their own. I’m down to folding and addressing the envelopes, then I’m off to the next project! I’ll be back tomorrow to share pictures of our friend Heather and Monday night’s Stamp ‘n Sip where we celebrated Baby Boy’s upcoming birth. Until then, have a wonderful start to the weekend, be sure to take time to craft, create, and stamp, and God Bless!
