I’ve a busy morning ahead trying to uncover my craftroom while I recover from three classes in two days with only one of them at home. Everything else is packed in my Thirty-One bags and currently sitting on my craftroom floor where I deposited them Tuesday night. I was so tired I just dumped, and that is not something I do often. I like everything in it’s place, so I’m looking forward to spending a couple of hours emptying bags, putting away craft tools, pitching trash, and getting things back to normal. Many people would dread that but clearing the clutter lightens the mental load for me.
So I can mess it all up again tomorrow since I’m designing a sampler with the Floral Delight Suite for a club next week! It never ends!
Try to look past the wonkiness of the photography please! Pam shared this sampler that she designed last night, and it is so cute!!!! There are so many great pieces included in the DSP package she only needed to stamp a couple of greetings. It began as an 8×8 sampler for her frame, but by the time we finished we showed how easy it was to adapt it to an 12×12 sampler with the addition of a couple of mats and the beautiful page from the DSP.
You could easily make a couple more different samplers with the materials left over as well. If you missed the FB Live last night you can still catch it on the recording, but remember that FB has started limiting the lifetime of recordings. I’m trying to figure out how I can upload it to my YouTube page which is going to change the process since it’s a private group video versus a public one. FB and Wally World as so much alike – just when you THINK you know where something is, they change it all up!!!

Final Thoughts…..
Am I warped that I like to put things away???? I’m the one who can’t rest until the suitcases are unpacked and laundry started. Everything has to be put away after a trip to the grocery store, including the bags. I really like to go through the mail in the garage so I can dump the trash of catalogs, promotions, etc. before it can even make it into the house. And before bedtime, I try to reset and put things away if at all possible.
Next weekend all of our family will be in to celebrate our birthdays, since Pool Boy and I have back to back birthdays on the 6th and 7th. The house will have kids underfoot, multiple meals cooked, and backpacks, shoes, toys, and stuff everywhere. I’ll try to handle it the best I can – and if need be, I’ll disappear for a few minutes to breathe and chill before throwing myself back into the chaos. By Sunday morning I will be trying to reclaim the house even before everyone leaves.
They are only here for a short time, and I will enjoy them as best I can. Then breathe when it’s all back in place.
