Gardeners know that one of the first flowering beauties of spring are the happy faces of pansies! Being a cold weather bloomer and able to withstand cooler temps, they can be planted late winter/early spring and again in the fall to add color and joy to planters and landscapes. Personally, I think pansies are the perfect way to thumb your nose at winter! LOL After months of dreary gray landscapes, pansies light everything up with the many color combinations, vibrant colors, and lush greenery.
I’m In Pansy Mode This Week!
Did you think you were in a garden blog versus a paper crafter’s blog? Gardening is also one of my passions so this coming week will be fun combining paper crafting with flowers since it’s still winter outside. It will be a way to bring spring inside the house! And the best part – The PANSY BUNDLE will 20% off on sale beginning MARCH 1!!!!! With the added 10% savings when purchased as a bundle that is a total savings of 30% – more than a demonstrator receives!
Allowing The Pansy Petal DSP To Take Center Stage!
There are such striking images and patterns included in this DSP and as always, Stampin’ Up! pairs the DSP patterns with an overall, small print that can be used for any greeting – can’t you see the Evening Evergreen stripe used for a man’s card? Or the small ginghams would make adorable baby cards!
Pansies Created Three Ways With The Stamp Set and Bundle!
This bundle allows for three ways to create pansies – first with simply using the stamps to create the bloom and the large die for cutting, detailed dies that create layers to build a pansy without a stamp, and the large solid dies that cut and emboss card stock in one step, and the only thing needed is to add sponging to the petals and assemble. If you add in die cutting the pansy images in the DSP you have a 4th way to create beautiful pansy cards!
Final Thoughts….
I’m currently working on my projects for my March Stamp ‘n Sip gals so you will be seeing these beauties in action through the next few days. Remember – the Pansy Bundle is on the 20% Sale coming March 1 so be sure to check back to see all of the possibilities! Until then, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
